The Little Things
There are so many of those randomly forgettable little moments when things just work out. And they should be appreciated on some of the smallest scales. Those moments that make you look up to the sky and say “you did that”.
When shuffle is killing it
When the cops catch the person ahead of you
When they get your order wrong but they let you keep the food
When all the lights are green
When the phones are down at work
When you remember you have leftovers
When your GPS dies and you kinda think you know how to get there so you feel your way and you make it just fine
When a cashier lane opens up just as you’re walking past and you hear “I can take you right here”
When the plans you were about to back out of are cancelled
When it was your turn to “tell a fun fact about yourself” in the meeting but we’ve run out of time *darn*
When you try a sketchy coupon code off Retailmenot and it works
When they have free lounge area at the “Lounge”
When you find an extra chicken nugget at the bottom of the bag
When they post new seasons on Netflix
When you thought it was a spider but it wasn’t
When she’s actually pretty cool
Just an exaggerated way to say it’s the little things we often overlook because we’re looking for grand gestures of goodness. But these need some recognition too. Because I’m saying tho... free seating.
The little things are important too.
